The Russian Summer Ball is one of the major events of the London Season – an amazing evening of glamour, tradition and wonderful company. Many of Russia’s hottest VIPs attend this glamorous occasion, including the guests of honour, Their Highnesses Prince and Princess Dimitri of Russia, Her Highness Princess Olga of Russia and His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mr Yuri Fedotov. Founded in 1996, this sumptuous White Tie Ball attracts international diplomatic and aristocratic circles, as well as socialites and stars from the worlds of film, fashion, music and art.

This year, the 13th Russian Summer Ball will be held in London’s historical and exclusive venue the Banqueting House, Whitehall Palace.  We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of luxury that commences with a Champagne reception followed by seemingly endless glasses of Ivan the Terrible Vodka.

A superb three course dinner will be provided by award winning caterer and warrant-holder of the Royal House of Windsor, Anton Mosimann (www.mosimann.com). During the dinner there will be an auction and exciting live entertainment. Amusements include a casino, a raffle, and the unique and inspiring artists’ corner, where guests may purchase souvenirs of their evening.

Ballroom dancing will be accompanied by music from a live orchestra. During the midnight interval, guests can take part in Sabrage, the ancient Hussar tradition of opening champagne bottles with sabres. Then the colourful and traditional Russian Gypsy Band ‘Cabaret Russe,’ will play into the morning. Breakfast canapés will be served at 1am and carriages are at 3.30am – the end of a memorable evening.
